Van Halen "The Wild Life" Soundtrack included these rare to find unreleased songs, video produced by http://ChrisGossett.com/VAN_HALEN.htm . Photography by Van Halen Official Photographer Neil Zlozower used with written permission. Thank you Zloz! You can hear the rarest song, the first song, which is an early version of "Right Now", and the recently "discovered" track (that was on "Dawn of 5150") and at the end is a 1984 keyboard jam live that goes with Van Halen / The Wild Life perfectly.

  • There's a lot of cool EVH riffs in that film.

I was just watching it after 20 years!!

  • @johnnybeane Hey Beany! Whazzup! Donut City is the only thing missing here cuz it's everywhere already.... Plus I was thinking the vid would be pushed over the 10 minutes.

  • When this movie came out, I taped the VHS version with an audio cassette so I could listen in my car as I drove all over Alberta in my late teens. I got to know every word and note. Such gold. Glad Eddie did this score. Riffs turning into gold. I bet he has 5150 more. Thanks for the post and thanks Eddie. I was indeed born in the right era after all!

  • @liana0106 You picked it (I always thought the same)...and now we both get to enjoy this "hit" on Track 5 (Blood & Fire) on the new album. Enjoy

  • @DoggieAdventure Its awesome isn't it. The song is incredible as it is produced. After 20 times of listening to it, I finally read the lyrics....ha ha...sounds like a Roth salute to his rejoining.

  • I think "Ripley" is one of the best pieces of music Eddie has ever come up with. Should have been used for a track (before Blood and Fire). The Wildlife would have survived without it!

  • Second riff is Blood and Fire, track 5 on a Different Kind Of Truth

  • I hear some "Mine all mine" in the 1984 keyboard jam.

  • @liana0106 cause the opening is...."Right Now"

  • Tune was Here!

  • 1:19 onwards keyboard riff reminds me of Prince's Dirty Mind...

  • the beginning of this sounds very "right here right now"-ish but then turns into very 84-ish sounding music . Could've been a huge HIT!!!!!!
