It's not a bad idea to start out as a cleric, in order to get the heal spell, which almost counts as 5 extra Estus Flasks. It helps in places like this, where one chugs them like energy drinks.

@iTooHype use a bow and quickly snipe her when she swings her sword or barfs up lava.
I did this and I was able to hit her with my lightning spear( miracle) twice

@xlerb88 i found it very difficult to hit the human part, what i had to do was wait till she sprinted towards me, and use the heavy soul arrow at just the right time to hit it. then i followed up with another, i got her my second try.

@EuroHEV Haha.. naah he don't, but in his youth he was on the national Karate team, and he teached others when he got older, until he met my mum, so he told me how to avoid the first swing and the dogs, so i could get up the stairs :P
