The Jet III M from JETBeam is a personal favorite of mine. When the head is tightened, the light will always be in full brightness and you can program the head loosened to a ridiculous number of different modes.

  • I've already purchased the Fenix PD20 and I did so because I could hide it in my palm while waiting at the bus stops at night and not attract attention and expose what I have. However, I want more power and some defensive/tactical capability in a larger, heftier flashlight. It's between this and the Olight M20S. I see that the Jet III M has a "Q3" Neutral Light Version; no bluish or yellowish tint. However, what is the beam/spill/flood/range specs with a "Q3"? Is it older tech than an R2/R5?

  • @MegaDyneSystemsExe Q3 was a warm tint and is no longer available. They haven't been made for about a year. I like the M20S over the Jet III M because it can be used with one hand instead of having to have two to switch modes.

  • Was that a smooth reflector you had in there?

  • @NWguy83 I can't remember, but I think it was a smooth reflector.

  • To going gear....Hey man can the tactical tail cap ring be removed? Reason why on my Ak I have a surefire g2 with protruding tail cap. Using a forward pistol grip rail mounted the light close in with a 1 inch scope ring. I can push the tail cap momentary on with an index finger knuckle. The tactial but stand is nice but for this application a protruding tail cap switch would work best. Thanks and what are your prices?

  • @TheTexasAk47 Yeah, you can unscrew it and remove it. There a few different models, so you can see all the prices on our site.
