  • Extraordinaire, trop court.

  • c'est dommage oui, yes it's a pity :)

  • The man was a God!! He conducts Egmont with that rare combination of

    refinement and brooding savagery

Beethoven requires. What a thrill ride!!

Bravo and Thank you for this legendary

  • How nice here to compare Mengelberg with Furtwangler!! .Two different interpretations but both are Great however .

  • @nekonobasu Fully right. Also check for Carlos Kleiber, it is quite similar!!

  • thank you for uploading this masterpiece. so interesting.

  • Thank you for this recording.

    Truly amazing!

So free in the choice of tempi and rallentandi and yet so convincing as if this would be the only possible way of interpreting it.

  • 10000000000000000000000 thanks for this, I am speachless

  • through Beethoven's apparent handicap "hearing loss" came the brilliance of this music, just like a diamond is made thorough great pressure so the human character is refined through hardships, apparently our great creator knows this!! character is simply not attained except through this process!!! CHARACTER IS A VICTORY!

  • Stirring, intense and fully detailed. Extraordinary!
