There is another way instead of the shield :
Have some one down the stair and some btw that guy and the cover-thing.
The guy down the stair just need to cover but the other guy is going to block.
So when your going to go over cover you gonna end there.
Don't take that long to get used.

theres an easier way. somebody jumps over da cover. then the person who wants to go under takes cover in front of da person who jumped over and just press a to jump under.
