Actually I don't think you'd want to see him off-duty, since cops are armed at all times. And you never know which other cops are off-duty, should you and he meet up.

people in the crowd were told not to rush the field. when you go on the field, anything can happen, look at the dude who lost his camera at the Boise State game. you take that risk leaving your seat. the cop had let many other fans run by without incident, should have let this one too. it's hard to keep order when the cops are outnumber by the fans, just try to keep people safe and don't abuse the authority you have as a police officer, you give the department a bad rap.

same thing happened to me the cops beat and sprayed me!they got the wrong guy!they thought I was the one who robbed my nephew!because Im big!den they change the story and said i attacked them? why would I?were the victim not the suspect?went to court and my lawyer said i had no witness for my side but the cops had one!somehow they lost all contacts of the witnesses that said they saw the cop spray me and beat me while I yelled out RIGHT THERE THE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS DEPARTMENT IS CROOKED

One Officer's actions doesn't reflect upon the whole department. And before you state on what you've seen in "da law," make sure your ignorant statements are true. Sure, that officer's actions deemed unlawful; but we did not see everything that happened due to where the cameras aimed. Probably the supposed victim did something to intimidate the cop. All we know is that he was apprehended and held against the floor, with what seemed like punches coming from the cop.
