Chris Shays wants to raise the voting age back to 21, or at least said lowering it was "a mistake."

Obama= liberal, McCain= liberal, Hillary Liberal, Mitt= you guessed it...liberal. There is no left & right in politics. They all want war with Iran, they won't change a damn thing in this country & ignorant americans haven't figured it out yet.

Well, our choices are:
Hillary
McCain
Obama
or Romney.

If you don't like Romney, which of the other three candidates will you support by your action/inaction?

That is the way McCain has it figured.
I guess you support McCain, then, even if it is only passive support.
When you Paulites finally realize that the American voter will not vote for Ron Paul, then what are you going to do? Call Ghostbusters?

You could perhaps (?) argue that McCain was "his own man", an independent of sorts, maverick blah blah 10-20 years ago - maybe (lol). I cannot in good conscience support him running as a Bush Republican. I am not a "party before country" pawn. Independents don't think that way.

I registered as an Independent some years ago in Maryland, after thinking I was Republican for many years. I was a grass roots worker for Barry Goldwater in 1964. I was shocked and saddened when Lyndon Johnson won the Presidency. I never trusted LBJ. I don't trust McCain either. We don't really have a clear cut choice that would suit me this go-around, but of those left standing, I would vote for Romney in spite of his shortcomings, over the other three left in the race.

Well, Goldwater is looking better every day (lol). JFK too for that matter. Both would be considered conservative by today's standards. I'm not a big fan of either McCain or Romney's less than visionary view of tax code reform
