  • Sure. The mission of the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii is to promote individual liberty, free market economic principles and limited, more accountable government. Other than having your mouth washed out with soap I, speaking for myself, don't have any problem with what you've outlined. Respecting property rights is important and so is loving each other one no matter the color of one's skin.

    God Bless Hawaii USA!

  • No need welfare. Give back what was stolen then we equal. Don't need to steal. What is misleading is Hawaii does not belong to the U.S. Good presentation should include the theft of a country. Hey Tom good to see you the Akahi Nui. Take care

  • You can't give back what was not stolen. The United States stole nothing. Hawaii was then, is now and forever will be America's 50th and greatest state! Good to see you too.

    ALOHA

  • No facts and stats... which show that, as a group, native Hawaiians are NOT in need of special government hand outs. Help, based on need and not the color of one's skin, is what America is all about. And native Hawaiians are no more victims than anyone else.

    Thanks for watching!

  • If calling for more effective government, lower taxes and about "liberty, free market, limited accountable govt" disadvantages you please tell us how. We nor the gov. does nothing to "disadvantage native hawaiians" if they are indeed disadvantaged, and I do not think they are, then its their choices that have made them such. ANYONE can succeed in America today and many of your kanaka brothers have done exactly that. Don't like the way things are? Run for office!

    Aloha

  • SURE! AND ALOHA!

I know locals, haoles, blacks, asians, kanakas... all who need help. But help is based on NEED... NOT the color of skin nor when great great grandpa got here. Native Hawaiians are doing as well as ANY other ethnic group... so stop the blame game. I have no problem with anything else you've shared. Liberty, like Aloha, is for all who desire it. "All men are of one blood!" does that sound familar? It should.... the King said it. So I ask you... how do we together move forward?

  • If saying that we are all equal both in America and in god's eyes is racist... so be it!

    Tom @ Grassroot

  • Bunch of racists
