please see my video called "playing guitar and bass to Drowning Pool 1/19/2011" He was 6 months old there... That was the minor hand movements... He does those now along with the arm flails.

OMG! My son started doing this same exact thing when he was around 3 or 4 months. He is 10 months old now, will be 11 May 25th... and he STILL does it like crazy, and he does a crazy hand flap too... almost looks like a wave, and when we go places people think "oh look hes waving" but he is NOT. He looks like hes frantically waving his hand and arm. He has a wave and that is NOT it. Its usually 1 hand at a time but occasionally its both. whats your update? I am goin to subscribe to you.
He is going to be 16 months on May 26. He is 100% healthy & intelligent. He doesn't do these types of movements above anymore. However, he does twirl ankles when he is bored, tired or excited. His grimace has turned into more of a clenched smile now (when he is uber excited). I love his quirkiness! So long as he is physically and mentally healthy, I am not worried. :)
