This is Judy Garland's ultra-rare, rarely heard song from the album '3 Billion Millionaires' that is long out of print. It was released in 1963. The only other CD that has this song is 'The Definitive Garland' which was released in 1990 but is now out of print as well. My youtube video is the only place in the world you'll ever hear this rare song of Judy's :).

Here's some info on the album:

Enjoy! :D

  • I sang back round vocals on this cut what a trip!!!!!

  • @Muzistion OMG!!!!! Did you meet Judy? Was she amazing? I read that the backgrounds were added later.

  • One more thing....I wonder if the reason this is so rare is due to copyright ownership and/or Garland's vocal quality as she seems a bit hoarse - especially for 1963 or prior when she was usually at her peak...

  • @MikeSings82 According to the JGDB (Judy Garland Database) this song was recorded by Judy for charity. She recorded this song backstage at the Sahara in Las Vegas, Nevada in October of 1962 with the children's chorus and orchestra added later. It was placed on the CD "3 Billion Millionaires" along with songs from other famous singers of the day to raise money for UNICEF and The US Committee for the UN.

  • Wow! I thought I'd heard everything...what a treat. Thanks so much.

  • @MikeSings82 You're welcome :)

  • Judy was hoarse because she sang two shows in Vegas, then recorded this to a pre-recorded track. Thanks for this very rare track.

  • @AntinousIsGod1 Oh thank you for the info! That makes sense because The Sahara concert as I understand was supposed to be the Judy Takes Broadway concert (i think) but because of her voice, half the songs couldn't be used...or something like that...which explains her (though still wonderful) voice here.

  • @twinnumber3 I only recently heard of it. It's almost impossible to find. Glad you liked it baby! :D

  • @AbeNW11 My pleasure. Glad you liked it :)
