Eve Online Drake Level 4 Mission

Drake Tanking level 4 Guristas Extravaganza
with total shield recharge setup relying on just core skills and base ship resistance.
i did manage to kill the entire spawn but it took a while because Heavy II missiles have a 34km range Sucks! :(

wrong 5 Hornet II since its against guristas, im not sad im using my core skills resists only, with a shield recharge time of 92secs helped by modules and a total shield of 13248

as i said earlier "Managed to kill the entire spawn with Heavy II Fury missles, bit of a grind i admit but it is possible but with a range max of only 34km the missile range sucks" i just made this video to show the tank i have the footage of the damage i dealt ill upload it if you wish :)

People always hide their passive modules cause they think they've thought up some amazing cool setup noone knows about. ^_^

Obviously gone full passive, and there is only one optimum passive tank setup for drake, sooo...

I was running this mission on my drake last day... And I ended up quitting. There is no way to make this with a tank focused drake. Way too much time, and ammo wasted. After 2 hours killing 2 bc I said Fuck This.

My fit:

2x Invulnerability field II

3x Large Shield Externder

1x Shield Recharger... (dunno the name)

3x Recharger thingies II on low slots.

@DiamondChrome42 calling others noobs and you are fitting a MWD on a mission ship?....Other than that, with a drake and no afterburner you cant speed tank at all: slow ass ship + huge sig radius.

ive found it's actually way better to buffer tank your drake for lvl 4's rather than passive, reason for this is becuz of the extended shield you will still have a decent shield recharge and you have more room to fit invuls/ extenders, and plus the lows are not taken by shield mods so u can put even more bcu's in them= more dps, with the resist and very high shield hp, lvl 4's become a joke

okay let me clear it up for you noobs, he's doing what they call speed tanking where he runs so fast that he barely gets a scratch, a perfect ship to do this is the legendary Tengu, don't even need a hardener all you need is a 10MN microwarpdrive II and load all the lows with Ballistic Controls and you'll speed through L4s

@GeneralIXTL the drake was designed as a tanking ship more then a dps ship. the drake can have amazeing tanks but crappy dps.

which is the reason most people used the raven or navy raven in level 4 missions because they could tank and throw out dps.

Those missiles aren't heavy assault because I have my missile skills real decent and I can only fire my heavy assault missiles less than 20km, and that's with bombardment and projection 5 he has rubbish damage so he is obviously using T1 missiles without he skill warhead upgrades, when I do level 4's in my drake I have no trouble taking out most BS's, I rest my case
