Tips for saving money on your electric bill - P3 Kill A Watt meter

Connecticut has some of the highest electricity rates in the country. My monthly electric bill is over $300. I talked to a few neighbors with similar houses and it seemed like my bill was higher that theirs.

I had CL&P (Connecticut Light and Power company) come out to check my meter and everything was normal. The technician gave me some pamphlets with tips to reduce my bill. I took it a step further and decided to use an inexpensive meter to monitor some of my appliances to see what was using the most electricity.

I put together this video to share what I am doing.

The test meter in the video is the P3 KillAWatt meter.

Drill a small hole in the glass and fill it with molasses....this will slow it to s stand still and your costs will go way down....

@scottkan357975343 His house looks alot bigger than 1326... AC and electric heat will kill you on your bill, best thing to do is get gas or oil heating, yeah oil, its still cheaper than electricity when it comes to heating
