This is a 2 minute clip from "Blue Neon Night," a limited edition DVD that author Michael Connelly's publisher gave away on his 2004 book tour for his novel, "The Narrows." This clip has an excerpt from "The Black Ice" read by actor William Peterson (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Manunter, To Live and Die In LA).

The city of Los Angeles has been at the heart of all of Michael Connelly's novels. In this DVD, Michael provides an insider's tour of the places that give his stories and characters their spark and texture. Directed by author and filmmaker Terrill Lee Lankford, "Blue Neon Night" brings Michael Connelly's Los Angeles to life and captures the essence of a writer's relationship with the place that inspires, frustrates, and ultimately fulfills him. All the excerpts from Michael's 14 books are read by actor William Petersen. For more information about Michael Connelly's novels, please visit www.MichaelConnelly.com .
