@1950gnarlymike That's so intense. I was just sitting in my room dicking around on the internet the first time I heard this song, but hell, it still stirs something in people no matter where you are.

@1950gnarlymike Thanks for Sharing. Too many of us hide within us tales like this. This song also saw me through desperate and dangerous times, and now at 70 years old--i still get strength from it.--as we fight our way through that for those with their sights set for something so high this resistance always seems to be there wanting to break one, as we are in flesh, that is---for me, fight your fight to the end and death will shatter this limbo and we are free-at 70 i am getting there.Max:)

Limbo can be a great place, as long as we don't keep our focus only on the material level. It is a great place of REBIRTHS to those who are able to see beyond the visible. Yes; it can be very painful and trying at times but for one living with a purpose, Limbo is a great place for great expectations!!
"Trouble never comes to a man/woman unless she brings a nugget of gold in her hand"!! May you be encouraged in your limbo.

my father sat in limbo as me and my dog came to fight off the armies off darkness to make sure my pop would be ok. when the light came he was ok when darkness came he was ok i made sure my pop would be ok Warrior, roblow stand up you died in the little park the holy spirit
Heard this song while sitting in a Spanish prison awaiting sentencing on a hashish smuggling charge. It was back in 1973/74 . They were asking "life" and it was later reduced to 10 years. This song was played over the P.A in the yard at the request of an Englishman that was there for the same reason as me. It inspired me and helped me to get through my time. It gave me hope and faith and I love this song to this day.

I'm so sorry about your sister. I've lost my Mom, Dad and my only sibling. Everyone gone but me.
Right now for me and Mr. Wonderful, this song is about waiting to close on a house we're buyiing. The poor thing has been empty for a year, and we've been under contract since Oct 2010 - foreclosure issues from prior owner. I drive past it every day on my regular route to and from work....we've been packed since Nov. And we're sitting here in limbo....waiting for the tide to turn...
