Art Garfunkel is awesome musician in his own right. I really admire him for his work with Paul Simon.
Yet I don't like this cover much... maybe because of the "(What's That ?) Hawaiian Noises ?" (just a little hint... sorry for that).
And if you watch /watch?v=im2SoltmZEc , you know what this song sounds like when put feelings in it.
Mark really becomes "one" with the lyrics, the melody and the guitar playing.

There is no 'better than original...' that is what covers are about. It is possible to like the original and a good cover. Classical muso lovers don't say John Smith 2001 concert was better/ worse than Beethoven's original performance in 1830. We must have an open mind.
