Problems jailbreaking my iPhone 3GS

I'm in the middle of jailbreaking my iPhone and I ran into a couple of problems.

I am excited to update to IOS5 because I've been on 4.0 for a year and a half. I only do to these major firmware upgrades because I need my iPhone to be jailbroken. Every time I update I risk updating my baseband and then I would loose my carrier unlock. That is the main reason that I jailbreak my iPhone, so I can use T-Moblie instead of AT&T. I am always very worried, so I just stay with what works.

Anybody else enjoying the new jailbreak releases?

Could have just held the home and power button that's the way to turn it off it it ever freezes like yours but yeah I have the same problems with backing up apps

@MrTanman20 Yup, that's all I needed. I googled it and had it back up about 4 minutes after I finished recording. I kind of panicked for nothing, but there's a lot at stake here. Back on track to run the jailbreak tonight.

@TheShaolinScholar Oh OK, on an iPhone I could just restore to stock and go from there. That's why I want to do this before Apple updates something and the window closes. No idea about your phone though. The internet is huge, I'm sure someone else had the same problem.

if u have tmobile y dont u get an android? i love my htc amaze if the iphone 4 was free id still pay for the android i guess ima android fanboy =( but it makes me feel warm an fuzzy and unrestricted

Yea I have my iphone unlocked for T-Mobile as well.I was able to upgrade just fine.I always do that little countdown with work .I will be playing xbox and randomly look up at the clock and think "FUCK, 5:30 IN THE MORNING I HAVE TO BE IN AT WORK AT 7!!!!" I never miss work but I do tend to need an energy drink or two.

Good luck with the phone.Run into problems and YouTube has everything in the books on Iphones.
