Students Challenged to Stop Youth Violence Problem

An initiative of the National Campaign to Stop Violence (NCSV), "Do the Write Thing" (http://dtwt.org) challenges middle school students to examine how youth violence and school violence impact their lives. Students express themselves in essays, poems, plays, songs, etc, that communicate and emphasize the need for personal responsibility and individual commitment to help prevent and end the culture of violence.
