hey vince, there's no quick mask on elements 7. is there another way to go? thanks.

@calzzzzzzz Try making a new layer instead of using the quick mask mode. For example a new white layer with a black border, add the effect like in the video and then select the black, delete your selection on the original layer and then hide the 2nd layer.

Not working for me, my mask is masking the wrong area, not sure how to change this??? weird.

try inverting your selection by pressing ctrl+shift+i before u apply the quick mask mode.
