Apparently someone has something against the electron transport chain?

The H-gradient is used to start ATP synthase, and thats the way ATP is made :)
-
what about complex II? no love for FADH?
-
so does it mean that in electron transport ,no ATP is formed.only in oxidation phosphorylation wc is not included in this video.

Respiration is so hard to remember D:

does anyone know the name of the song at the end? I really want to download it and listen to it while I workout and drive.

Researchers aren't exactly sure about how the mechanisms work, but there is an idea that seems quite plausible which involves thinking of the proteins as some rotating components. As the protons (H+) go through the protein complexes, they begin rotating. Imagine that it's a windmill, rotating while H+ passes through.. There is ADP and a phosphate group on the protein, and the mechanical energy of the rotation makes the phosphate group fuse with the ADP into an ATP-molecule .
