Abhor What is Evil; Hold Fast to What is Good- John Piper

Part of a sermon by John Piper on Romans 12:9.

This is a great refute of the idea of relative truth and the subjectivity that plagues so much of what we call "Christian" today. There is such a thing as objective truth and there is such a thing as good and evil, and the standard of good and evil is not subject to what you or I think. It is subject to the Word of God.

Just because you hate something doesn't mean it is evil, and just because you love something doesn't mean it is good. We must align ourselves with what GOD says is good and evil, and that involves a change that must take place in us by a work of God.
