All hell has broke loose at Occupy Oakland as police launched a surprise 4:00am raid and eviction has culminated into the police firing bean bags, rubber bullets, tear gas, woden dowels, stun grenades / flash bombs at a crowd.
The video starts off with photos of the violence including a photo of one man who suffered injuries to his face after being shot with rubber bullets by the Oakland PD.
I then show an eyewitness detailing how he saw a woman bleeding profusely and lying on the ground knocked unconscious following the police firing concussion bombs into the crowd. He tells how a small group of people turned to help the woman only to have the police deploy several more grenades, one of which exploded right next to the woman's head.
I then show videos taken backing up his account along with several other videos showing aggressive attacks of tear gas and flash bombs being launched against the crowd.
Finally, I review the Oakland PD's press release in which the justify their police brutality with a series of lies, pointing out several of lies their press release is clearly contradicted by videos I just showed.
