Actually, global warming can cause an ice age. I'll explain... glaciers melt, increasing the amount of freshwater in the ocean. The ocean relies on salty warmer water to be circulated in the 'global ocean conveyor' which greatly influences world climate. Once this conveyor is cut off, then there goes our climate cycle. Its happened in the past, Google " little ice age".

@pcpaul1000 Wooow....I'm conservation but I'm also and environmental scientist. It doesn't have anything to do with brain washing. You can argue about what is causing Global warming (us or just natural cycles), but it IS happening. If you can prove to me it isn't I'd be glad to see the evidence.

Big Oil doesn't want any EPA regulations that address global warming to be imposed b/c that will cut into profits. So they conduct a disinformation campaign to try to convince ppl that global warming is not happening. However, according to environmental scientist David Keith, "There is no disagreement among really anybody who is scientific in any way that the world is a lot warmer than it was 100 years ago". Global warming is real.

Lets not hash this debate up to liberal vs conservative. lets account it to environmental scientists in their field who have proven with fact global warming is occuring. Stop making this a political war. Its a scientific fact. If you do not want to look into it yourself and do some actual research. You are just a stubborn person with misdirected aggression

Global warming is a big lie....but even if the Atlantic were to freeze from top to bottom (not that it would) you believers would say "oh, this is part of Global Warming"! While I would like to see the lynx around and would never hunt them (I don't hunt period) I have to say that the lynx has probably over specialized with the snowshoe hare, hereas his relative the bobcat isn't so specialized and is more wide spread. This accounts for it's limited numbers, besides climate changes every so often without human intervention.
