who cares about recoil on a auto granade launcher? its not exactly a persision weapon plus prob like.90% of those prob b mounted on something...but this still looks like shit compared 2 mk19

That thing kicks like a mule on LSD. Apparently the AGS-30 is a variant of the AGS-17 and was developed for use against the Chinese, not Americans, during the Sino-Soviet border conflict to stop "human wave" attacks. Still weapons like the Mk-19 or Mk-47 Striker would own it. They have less recoil, can carry more rounds, and each round, upon impact, can kill anyone within about a 15-foot radius of the initial impact. And the Mk-47, already being used in Afghanistan, can carry airburst rounds.
