  • Left-wingers have THRIVED off of this type of conduct (as alleged against the Irvine 11), except, often much more obnoxious, and at times, violent. Most of these guys got up, said their bit and headed to the end of the row, voluntarily. They are compared by the DA to the KKK? Seriously...a group that burned down homes, lynched innocents and wore masks and the DA has the audacity to compare them to THAT former Democrat-Sponsored terrorist organization...the KKK...seriously?

  • @UnicornsOccur

I pretty much agree with you. It is good to see there are others out there.

  • Open and shut case, clear violation of california penal code 403. I personally would have rather seen this handled all in school - suspend the actors involved, and bar the MSU from campus - but the law was broken. All these statements are politically motivated, and I'm sure if it had been a group of students going into a mosque and interrupting the prayers every minute, none of the people here would be fighting for them.

  • I hope these kids will serve their punishment and get on with their lives. If they want to be activists, i hope they stick to ways that do not violate the rights of others.

  • They were mean to the guy, that's why theyre being treated like this now. NO LAW CAN STOP SOMEONE FROM TALKING TO ANOTHER PERSON. "Interrupting" a man is not against the law. Plus, he's a war criminal so I don't know why anyone wants to defend him.

  • bright students?...more of an idiot..do they know the meaning of manners? they can shout all they want "AFTER THE SPEECH"..just because they had issues with israel doesnt mean they have the right to disturb the guest speaker..were are the rights also of the other people who want to hear the speech..sounds double standard to me...if they cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen...do your protest outside the hall not inside...political correctness is killing america

  • GUILTY :) Anteaters FTW. OC FTW.

  • ha ha!! thank god they're gonna be punished!!

  • The emails between the students show their intentions. Their goal was to "send the speaker a message" and show him that "he can't just go to a campus and say whatever he wants."

Included were plans to "disrupt the whole event" and "shut down with individual disruption."

I didn't support the filing of criminal charges but did support the university discliplinig these kids. Their behavior in a lecture hall should not be tolerated at a univeristy.
