Two different things,.... you must have been Infantry, your so damn dense in understanding the difference. As far as your respect goes, its nothing we are looking for and nothing we need. @militia48186 Stop trying to cast obesity as some sort of patriotic expression of freedom. Of course people have the right to be fat.But I don't have to respect them. I still take the time to keep my weight in check now that I'm a civilian. There's a guy in a wheelchair that works out at my gym so I don't know of any excuse for anyone to be obese. Some of the guys in this clip don't just have a few extra pounds, I don't have a problem with that, they are grossly obese.

I'm sorry, I just think that if a person takes it upon themselves to defend this country they should put a little more effort into performing that role. Maybe that old guy in the wheelchair could pop off a lucky shot. But that's all he'll do before he gets shwacked. If milita's are not a team, and just a bunch of friends who drink beer and shoot some guns then they really are a joke.

@thehotshirtguy2008 You keep using military terms, militia are civilians, families, friends not "teams". A strong Society is not just made up of skinny-little-farts, it has all kinds of people. There are plenty of dead "physical fit" team members killed by old-farts with WWI bolt action rifles. Militia is about doing what you can with what you got where ever you are. Don't assume abilities of anyone, find out, or you may be taken by surprise. The guy in the wheelchair you ignore may pop you.

@militia48186 I have argument politically against the militia movement. I think the militia serves an important purpose in the US. I'm just doubting the abilities of said militia. How can you defend your home if you can't run down the block? If you're commited to performing a role, maybe you should concentrate a little more on being able to fulfill that role. Physical fitness is one of the most important aspects in any team. It is just as important as marksmanship and discipline.

We are tough old birds, but then most people who are defending their homes, families and way of life usually are.....wouldn't you agree ? Citizen Volunteer Militias, the Real Homeland Defense.

We are your Fathers and Mothers, Aunts and Uncles, Brothers and Sisters, your Friends and Neighbors...and we want this nation to stay Free. Now that you have done your time and are moving on with your life, just as we did, the day will come when you will say, "I still have something to offer, I still need to defend my nation, my family, my way of life." Because you are no longer military, did you forget everything ?
