@drugsguru you're obviously an internet tough-guy nobody and an over-all scrub as well. Scotty Moore was following in the shadow of Chet Atkins. He began playing jazz and country music as a youngster and that's where his chops were. Berry was a delta man, following Lightning Hopkins and T-Bone Walker. He was forming Rock chops in 52-53' Where do you think the inspiration for this Sun 54' recording came from? And congratulation two white dudes doing a sub-par version of B-good with no personality

@kirbygene and no one is negative about Paul, we all love him. Every part of him, including the control freak.
-
@drugsguru Sorry but you're just not on spot. Chuck Berry was the first "rock and roll" guitarist. Anyone who overlooks that is either ill-informed or a racist who can't accept the fact that African - Americans had a tremendous influence on the sound of Rock.
-
@kirbygene Not so much. Anyone who is well versed in the ways of Paul knows this. Ask David Bowie, the members of Wings, Michael Jackson, Pete Townsend, the list goes on. Being labeled (and respected as) the most popular composer in pop music will do this to a man. DJ's job is to keep time, as a drummer, and count them in. Why would Paul feel that was his job, as a guest in a jam? @wilsondylanmccartney is accurate. Paul was gently kidding the first time, the second time showed his true nature..
Love how paul ALWAYS has to be the alpha male when playing with other people, soo funny!
Scooty Moore is one of my favorite guitarists
