These prisoners spend 23 hours a day alone in a 60 square foot cell made of concrete and noisy steel, but they're allowed out an hour each day for recreation and a shower. No TV, no air conditioning, no privacy. They are also fed only 1600 calories per day. Death row inmates will only see the outside through a slit in their cells at tip-toe height. Its a view of razor wire and high security fences.

These prisoners must be so broken down by the time they face the execution.

  • Don't mess with Texas!

  • no one deserves to die. no matter what they did, how many people they did it to, or anything. being locked up for 23 hours a day is torture. all you idiots have no hearts. theyre being punished enough. eating 2 a day??? outrageous

  • @chrischoy9 that's true but it's because of lack of evidence or the person just get's lucky that the jury is full of idiot's but an innocent person wouldn't get the death penalty, maybe back in the day's when they didnt have dna testing and fingerprints but we have too much technology now to over look a case, trust me my sister is becoming a criminal lawyer and i have been reading her books, if there's even a doubt the person won't get the death penalty

  • @elspiclatino Some multiple murderers can be judged as being "not guilty"

  • @freestonedoug not likely death penalty is a serious subject in courts people only get it with 100% proof that they committed the crime the case is always investigated thoroughly stop watching movies get your education through books

  • im pissed that we pay for there food and medical not to mention there containment expenses. the ones you should feel sorry for are the correctional officers have to deal with the savages that take shaving razors apart just so they can cut themselves or gaurds. but maybe thats cause ive fed meals and gave showers to almost every one of thoes murderers(i was once a gaurd at polunsky). it would be quicker and less expensive to walk them out on a shooting range for live practice for our military.

  • @TheSirbaits I think it's awful to harm anyone. I want to punish the guilty and keep them from repeating their crimes. I don't think the state has the right to decide whether people should live or die though regardless of their crimes. It's back to the stone ages and makes the US look like shit! In the case of Yates though, she was the most barbaric killer in history and she deserves no mercy. Try to make a more intelligent augment than calling someone you don't even know, a piece of shit.

  • I'm sure people wouldnt feel bad for these convicts if it was their family members who were murdered by these people. They deserve it.

  • @socaldualsport. I reiterate my stance that no one what ever their crime deserves the death penalty or death row. I reiterate my stance that a small amount of criminals are so dangerouse that they deserve to be imprisoned away from society for the rest of their natural lives. You have not understood my posts, you call me a liberal and I am not offeneded by that as I am happy not to be the few "choice words" I would use to describe you and your draconian views. Peace

  • @mjpitche Do you are saying that its ok to kill an adult? I bet you would have a different tone if it were some one close to you killed for no reason. You are trash
