Mr. Mayor, What happened with our previous buses?
They use to be environmentally friendly. It was no noise coming from their engines, no electrical magnetic energy liking from the outside. There was no property line excessive and invasive noise as beep signals, open voice signal, whistles or high frequency compression air shoots.
Here is the email letter sent to Mayor Newsom on September 17 to alert him of Muni 6 year acoustic policy that violate inhabitants property lines.
The issue is Muni and their urban acoustic invasive system.

Dear Mayor Newsom, Please do not think I am after you or I am criticizing you for what happened with our home after the introduction of these "New Electric Buses". All these issues related to acoustic bad choices was done prior you taking Office.
These "New Buses" are not environmentally friendly, they are offensively shooting noise that goes beyond buildings property lines. The whole system assumes we all are partially deaf, blind or diagnosed with ADD. I did speak with your Transportation Board at the Legislative Chamber about these acoustics issues involving Muni on your SFGTV. Mr. Mayor, researching this issue of acoustics here in my neighborhood, I realized that anyone dealing with the issue must acknowledge at least these 5 elements.
1. The human issue
2. Type and source of noise
3. Decibels
4. Range perimeter of propagation and impact of noise
5. Landscape acoustic design
Many of San Francisco Intersections, because of landscape design are very acoustically prone. Certain types of noise propagate more than others. The reason I came to these 5 items is, one can not ethically assess a noise issue using only decibels. Decibels has been lobbied through legislation to fit to a machinery society, not a human society.
Mr. Mayor, With the Muni new acoustic system I have developed a sleeping disorder negatively affecting my personal health and productivity.
Just recently, I have participated in your Summit called "NEN", Neighborhood Empowerment Network. I firmly believe that it is the role of the Government to be the first to give the example to our Communities. I need support from you and your Administration to resolve this issue properly.
Thank you!
Why do you SF people sit around and complain about everything? Is it something in the air? If you want quiet then move to the country. Common sense you live in a busy urban environment expect to hear urban noises. Aren't SF people ever happy? It's too liberal another reason why you guys complain about nonsense issues when there are more important things to discuss CRIME!!!
