  • Saw this band many times on the Island. Bought this album when I was a teen. Loved it then I have to say they they were much better live. Id like to hear from them and get their input. Did they do the album in a rush because its not that tight. they were so amazing live, almost from another planet. Dickie Porter was so fast on the bass. I would classify them as rock with a touch of psychedelic?. The Dentist song "shooting needle Novocain to take away the pain". A great band. Wish they did more.

  • @stuffcreek You have said it right everyone has their opinions. The problem with opinions they are like assholes everyone has one. It cant be denied that the 60's and the first half of the 70's were the best time in music in every way shape or form. PERIOD

  • Love the high harmonies and counterpoints. The guitarist's no Clapton but I dig what they do. Byrds meets Grand Funk.

  • When it comes to rock bands--Airplanes, Starships, Zeppelins, Railroads, and even Speedwagons are pretty cool modes of transport. I have to say, though--Tri-Cycles are LAME!

  • Virt69, At the Gold Coast? or is that St.James.... how about the MOOF @ the In Crowd In Puerto de Hefferson

  • Loved these guys. They did a kick-ass version of "Leavin' Trunk"

  • I used to go to to see these guys in Smithtown Long Island. Dick Porter the bass player in the middle had the fastest fingers I'd ever seen. He was also in a band called the Rainy Days before the Wilkinson Tricycle that has five part harmony stuff. They too were awsome!

  • You think the album is obscure? You ought to see the performers! Seriously, this is top notch sixties -- harmonies are superb; percussion is awesome; a capella tenor is sweet and soaring. A Great Find!

  • jeffthrow is right. Great album. Not the best track, but a good one. I see it's not just my copy that crackles!.

  • I like it but I don't know who to compare to most - maybe Quicksilver Messenger Service or Strawberry Alarm Clock. I'm not sure.
