but I wouldn't know anything about that because im not a real "tuner," i dont think ive ever actually heard a truly knowledgeable automotive enthusiast refer to himself as a "tuner" in real life, occasionally ive heard it in bad movies but thats about it. so mr tuner, lets say youve just installed an 80+ trim turbocharger of some kind on a smaller displacement, fully built, inline 4, and you already have 12.5:1 across-the-board temporary afr map loaded just for safety

efficiency and airflow characteristics of a given turbo charger. all the variables involved are nearly infinitely variable and it is impossible to describe a linear performance-related progression for either a clutch or a turbocharger with a finite incremental 1,2, or 3...thats ridiculous. describing performance parts with a given "stage" is marketing BS for the clueless folk who would be completely lost if actual meaningful technical specifications were given to them.

diaphragm loading characteristics, surface area and density of the pressure plate, the geometry of torsion spring placement, and the range of pressure plate travel all affect a clutch's performance where as inducer and exducer diameters of BOTH the turbine and compressor wheel, the size, the shape, and the internal diameter of the compressor and turbine housings, the cooling and lubricating methods required by the turbo are all factors that affect the compressor
