Chess Commentary Episode 1 pt 1

My first ever chess commentary about a standard game I played on ICC. Was an interesting game though my opponent made some mistakes in the opening. It culminated into a winning attack for me. IT has some instructive ideas about maintaining the tension and attacking on the queenside.

I don't wanna argue with you buddy boy. I'm a dragon player myself. After getting beat tons of times playing 9...d5 I changed my mind. I know the lines. For example Be6 sacking the rook for the counter play? lol. White gets a small positional advantage. I'm not saying this because GM's say it. I've learn it's worse for playing it 100's of times. For the record, I didn't say "Bad". I said "slightly worse."

I do not see the point of giving up an opening that is "slightly worse" for black unless a GM told you not to. If you can't get a good game with the 9...d5 line maybe the dragon just isn't a good choice of opening for you.

The douche playing White needs to be shot. For the record, 9...d5 leads to a worse position for black after 10. exd5 Nxd5 11.Nxc6 bxc6 12.Bd4. Black has counter play but while will be a little better. Better for black is the old 9...Nxd4 which leads to some crazy stuff. lol your funny! Just because some GMs say something is bad for black doesnt mean its true. The position arrived after most of those lines have equal chances for both sides to say an opening is bad for one side is ludicrous. Perhaps you need to be shot?

wat about bf5, and if he takes your queen then its kb3 mate, and blocking with bishop first is mate again. Blocking with queen, then you could go from there.

Why pull the trigger so early and trade when you can build more tension with Qa4 after Nb3+? When your attacking you dont want to trade its a basic rule.

Actually, 15. ... Nb3+ 16. Kc2 Nxd2 17. Nxa2 Nxf1 18. Rhxf1 Bf5+, followed by either rook to d8 looks pretty strong for black to my patzer eyes.
