They changed ownerships, and when they did, the Delta Queen was no longer allowed to sail on waters due to being mostly made of wood, but before ownership changed, the laws that would have took her off the waters was grandfathered in. The Delta Queen was Majestics Cruise Lines major asset, with her out of commision, he company went bankrupt...
