Freight train cab ride

Short video of us going into Warwick Yard and look at the controls of the engine. The line of cars straight in front of us are the ones we are taking back down. The car at the front had to be a garbage car too. :( We brought 66 cars up.

OK...I finally have this straight...There's a ladder RIGHT before the line of cars in front of us...Watch AND listen to the vid and it will be obvious. I had to watch it again b4 I caught it..and I WAS THERE...lol oh well. Thanks 4 watching.

@CaptainZster No, funny thing is I can't come up with what it actually is. It looks alomost exactly a c40-8, but it is a 2-axle instead of 3...I hope that info helps.

This is a VERY old loco right? I mean nobody in their right mind today would design a locomotive where the driver has all controls on his left side so he has to sit sideways.

Ok I've seen situations where a multi locomotive freight train passes by and they keep the headlights on the rear engine on, but at a lower setting. Why do they keep the rear engine light on? especially since it's being blocked by the frieght cars?
