Norfolk Southern lead and helper units haul the intermodal containers over the mountain at Tunnelhill.
The train can be seen approaching MP246 at 4.30 in the distance and the end is a zoom in. (added music since no train sounds were audible)

Trains and Narnia do go together! LOL

In Narnia, even Sir Peter Wolfsbane and Edmund need supplies to battle the White Witch and 100 years of winter!

Music Score: "The Battle" from "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Soundtrack" 2005 (prop. of Disney and Walden Media)

  • OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH shit! Beat that nelolaura chick to comment! YEAAAAAAAA!!!! Tunnelhill lookc kickass in the snow, my buddies gonna be out there tomorrow til Sunday, MAN am I jealous! What was that, a really heavy 26T?

  • ahm... She posted on my preveiw version, before I had the music volume adjusted correctly.

From nelolaura (1 day ago): its so cool! great job Kevin as always! this is my absolutely fav narnia song! 500 stars 4 u!

And my mother beat you! (her comment don't count)

I actually cut 45+ secs due to wind noise and to better fit the music.

Not certain if it was 26T, I only have a general NS schedule w/o times (~9-10 am).

    But heavy and slow!!!

  • Hey Kev,

You haven't answered my phone message, are you coming to dinner at one on Thursday?

    Love,

    Mom

  • I was there with my son a few months ago. We stayed at the Tunnel Inn. We stood next to that little building while watching 2 trains! I think there used to be another track under the bridge. It was about 95 degrees F.
