An old arcade cabinet bought off eBay, stripped of its original JAMMA and CRT interior, and fitted with a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian, AdvanceMAME and Advancemenu, using an Ipac 2 for the interface between the Pi and the arcade controls, a 19" TFT monitor and a single channel amplifier to power the speaker.

Login is set to be achievable using only the arcade controls (for username and password), and running advancemenu is achieved using the left joystick to recall previously entered commands in the shell.

Under the control cabinet there is a hidden pushbutton which allows exit from the game to the menu system, which can be locked out using a keyswitch to fix the cabinet into a single game.

Coin mechanism and mars electronics coin board were all working, and the unit recognises current UK £1, 50p, 20p and 10p, and can be set to different game play prices from 10p to £1.60.
