Correct me if I am wrong.. I was at the race and the finish was interesting. I seem to remember that John Paul(s) were running less a cylinder, followed by Bobby Rahal in the prototype. Rahal was stuck in 3rd? gear...both were running almost identical times to the finish.
Still, a better finish was the next year when all the new prototypes failed, I watched the TR-8 take the lead, only to run out of brakes, and Freddy Baker took the checker in an RSR without knowing that he was the winner!
@realrideracing Back in the late 70's-early 80's pretty much the car to beat was the 935 and at that time pretty much 85% of the the GTX/GTP field was 935s
Great stuff. I only wish the camera operator had also covered the other cars in the field. Seems he was obsessed with the 935's, or maybe a Porsche promo clip. But wonderful to see the 924GTR's, 911GTU's, even the old Corvettes, and the BMW3.0CSL's. Great clip any way you look at it. Thanks for sharing.
no I love the Interscope 0 and 00. It says "hey look at me, I´m special" and the 0 without any other number is just a very beautiful number, because it´s just a circle.
Together with the colors of Black with pink and orange stripes the car looked really special.
That one beige/yellow prototype looks like a catamaran boat lol

Sorry, Wayne Baker, not Freddy.. Too much nostolgia for one night!
I've been attending Sebring since '75. Sorry that I missed the CanAn cars, but I witnessed many great events, and looking for 2012!
Overall best event... All Sebring events are the best!

or you could say that the concept of zero was a monumental human achievement in logic and abstract thinking.
