Gold stars in Rock Band are based on a score cutoff. The percentage doesn't have anything to do with them, unlike GH's gold stars.

how did you get 6x throughout the thing

I was playing bass. The bass parts always go up to a 6x multiplier, instead of the 4x that all the other instruments get.

A couple overdrive activations in slow spots are all that kept you from Gold stars, that sucks. Great job though!
