@quizerry Graduation rates for public schools in collective bargaining states are among the highest in the country. The national average is 74.9%. Wisconsin leads the pack with 89.6% graduation rate. This year, Wall Street bonuses exceeded 20 Billion dollars for the first time. These are the same people who have been screwing us all and who caused the economic disaster. Who are the bad guys here?

The budget Olsen voted for also allowed schools to put an end to stranglehold the unions had on them! So for the schools that did not give in to union pressure to sign contracts before the bill was passed, they were able to cut costs to MORE than make up for the loss of revenue from the state! It is a WIN for schools and a WIN for state taxpayers! Plus, the state did not have to raid other funds to try and balance the budget!

The people whose minds need to be changed are those whose anger has been misdirected at the union movement, Pres. Obama, etc. The right brilliantly steered the fear and sense of outrage toward the left - to the exten that people were blaming Obama for the financial crisis only months after he was in office. Please try to engage with thosee misdirected neighbors and friends - share your heartfelt convictions with them first, facts and numbers later.

@HRMOKeefe1 Yes, I can read! Well, you are correct regard the deficits. Do you recall the surplus budget the President Clinton left for GWB? Bush squandered that in a heatrbeat. The attack on a sovereign nation really put us in debt...(But Haliburton sure made out like BANDITS!) Bush said his war in Iraq would only last a few weeks.... :/ And those tax cuts on the wealthy!!! President Obama came into office to clean up Bush's eight years of destruction. Then along comes the "teaparty".
