Falkner and Manning (both formerly in Jellyfish) opening for Cheap Trick in Charlottesville, VA at the Jefferson Theater on January 22, 2010. They are the opening act for only 4 shows, and this was the first show. Falkner and Manning also played with Cheap Trick for the entire Cheap Trick set.

  • I remember how disappointed I was to miss them opening for Cheap Trick in Baltimore because I was on vacation at the time. I was happy to be somewhere sunny and warm but wish they would've been there just a few weeks later.

  • Strangely insipid. And I DO like this song

  • 7 of the greatest posts I've ever seen - thanks for this piece of treasure!!!!

  • Thanks for posting this! I just heard of Jason Falkner from his new album "I'm Ok You're Ok" with the songs "Hurricane" and "NYC" (my favorites). Talent oozing out his ears!

  • Roger and Jason are really the remaining two from Jellyfish who remain close and have been recording and collaborating together for some time now. It should also be no wonder that both of them have been very successful in their "solo" careers.

  • Fantastic!! I saw Jason and Roger perform as TV EYES a few years ago at the Troubador in LA. Hope they'll do more! thanks so much for posting this!!!

  • Thank you so much for posting these!

  • In the words of Bill Murray in "Stripes":

    IT IS ALIVE

  • I really love the fact that Roger and Jason after all of these years have continued their working relations with each other. This might be as close to a Jellyfish reunion that we'll get.

  • I loved the opening act and it was so cool that they got to play with Cheap Trick!
