I miss Pontiac :(

He don't know what bad service is plus if he talks to people like he does type about them which I doubt most keyboard warriors are that way because they are pathetic. When somebody comes to work on your service and they spend more time dealing with a dumbass customer you will not get the best out of the technician. Its common sense.Plus he states that his service is crystal cleal now so how can it suck?Maybe the techs sucked but if the service itself is "crystal clear" how can that suck?

Or LOOSE FITTING(S). Even Comcast approved fittings installed perfectly can cause tiling if they are not fully tightened.
-
Most likely a loose F-connector. A single connector even slightly loose will cause tiling like shown in the video.
-
A single LOOSE CONNECTOR will cause intermittent digital pixelation exactly like what is seen in the video. When a connector nut is loose, there is intermittent ground contact at best. Loss of ground contact causes pixelation, so make sure all of the connectors inside your home are tight.

@imacomputer101 see what i mean!!! You know nothing!!! you don't get a "snowy" picture on a digital signal. That would be an anolog signal your referring to, like ghosting and snowy/fuzzy picture. analog doesn't tile or pixelate either. So you prove my point to the T!!! okay so that tiling you c on the vid is either low signal, bad lines, or bad cable box, 95% chance nothing to do with the t.v. itself.

@Kreggsy6 non HD channels looked bad on a HDTV. no? they look pixely and snowy.

Maybe your tv is crap
The problem has sence been fixed.
We moved TV in the living room and had to remove a 18' length of cable **THAT WAS CHECKED 6 TIMES BY 6 DIFFRENT TECHS** and everthing is crystal clear.
My comment still stands ! COMCAST SUCKS !!

why is there an RF filter on your box? 3 techs would not have left that. not good ones anyways. are you sure theres nothing in your house interfering with your signal? like a t.v backfeeding power.... if it is on comcast side people need to remember theres thousands of feet of cable and hundreds of amps and splitters to maintain. everything is not always an easy fix. theres so many things that could go wrong. im not going to get into it all because you probably wont understand it.

You don't know of the rf filter/splitter on the back of the HD boxes ?

you have a signal issue, this is not comcasts fault, the wiring in your house is crap, just dont be rude to the technicians and they will try to help you, this is how it usually works with service people, the second they sense that you are being rude they will stop trying. Tell them to be frank and tell you if you need to run a new line or not, if you do need a new line comcast does it cheap, 20 bucks i think, cant beat that deal

Why didnt I think of that !
On one of the many visits by technicians they replaces all the cable from the pole to my box.
Funny thing is out of curiosity I removed the RF Filter that is on the box... this GREATLY reduced the pixilation and sound skipping to the point where we could watch the damn thing.
At any rate we will be leaving comcast for Direct TV.
To Comcast: You just lost yet another customer due to your worthless hardware.
