I like Gerd Leers and I'm all for legalization of every drug, since people will use them anyway. But actually the Dutch drug-marketplace is as controlled and regulated as a kindergarten lacking a teacher: N O T. Correction: It is controlled, yeah, by organized crime. Authorities control (or rather pretend to) who buys at the coffee shops but supplying them is illegal :-( More than two billion euros worth of cannabis is exported every year, making us Europe's no.1 narco state. Dream on.

@firestoneslave True, and Washington was a distiller --he was willing to bear the burden in his own business. Our Founding Fathers cared about integrity, morality, and they knewa free society required virtuous people as citizens and legislators. Now our government is a honey pot for criminals of all types and many citizens scoff at personal virtue. Time to change all that, starting with oneself

one of the first things washington did after the revolutionary war to raise money was to tax alcohol...cuz he knew he could make money off of it and the fact that the new country was broke from the war didnt help much...
so our founding father taxed a questionable substance that people use to bring the country out of hole....so why cant the jackass's in power now figure out what he figured out over 200 years ago
