  • This driver is new to the car, not to racing. He is a 2 time Pikes Peak class winner, and just took 3rd place in Global Rally Cross the weekend before. There was a number of competitors that all met that guardrail.

We are definitely glad the guardrail was there too!

  • not to sure looks to me like he missed a gear coming down the box that how he ended up too hot in the turn,im probaly wrong.

    Merci Stephan ;)

  • Holy shit i was scared when he lost control.

  • bustling change of wiews is killing a good race feeling

  • not to sound like a dum aiz but i seriusly always thought guard rails were just to make you feel safe, seeing this im glad to know im actualy safe if i fuck of on a turn where i live( lots of cliffs and ledges)

  • Thanks for uploading. So many cam's i love it. Next time please try to put a camera tha shows the front wheel and the road upfront, that will give a great angle.

  • Great run up to that point.. I did it this year for the first time and can't wait till next year!!

  • It's pretty easy to see what happened here, the driver came in a little hot at the corner approach, lifted slightly to scrub some speed, the rear end got light and came out, then it was just a 4 wheel slide at that point. Thank god the guardrail was there!!

All in all though, this is just a racing incident...sometimes bad things happen! :(
