As the lead singer of Was Not Was this remake came out in 1982-83 not a bad version although I think The late General Norman Johnson R.I.P. Vocal was a little bit stronger than Sweet Pea Atkinson,but I still thought he done a very fine job.

I disagree, nice but this is not a better version. It lacks the soul and urgency in General Johnson's smooth silky vocals.
