@DrGull1888 lol, that's what I meant to ask about, the Annual 1990 not Faces.I'll have to get both of them.I liked the way they handled the transformation from 'Dent into Two Face in the last Batman film.I still prefer Batman Begins to The Dark Knight though.I'm looking forward to the 3rd in the trilogy, should be good going by 'Nolans first two installments.I'm trying to avoid as much info on the film as possible so it'll be full of surprises.

@DrGull1888 I haven't read Batman Arkham City yet,I was planning on having a playthrough of the game first, somebody told me they had basicaly the same story.I'm not sure if that's true but I know 'Dini had alot to do with the 1st game Arkham Asylum, which is one of the reasons it was so awesome & true to the whole Batman mythos.I liked Sam Kieths Arkham Asylum:Madness,Batmans not in it,it is 24 hours in the shoes of a nurse that works thier while the Joker & others bring the place to its knees.

@socillizt4life By the way, I was kissed by a muse and therefore I'm gonna post videos again in March, next week to be exact. My next one will be again a warship video again but the following ones will be comic book top 10 lists. So, stay tuned.

@socillizt4life Well, Faces is no Two-Face origin story, it is just a Two-Face story - very dark and depressing as is the character. In a nutshell, he tries to create a nation of circus freaks by murdering and blackmailing Gotham's High Society.
Dark Victory is definitely better than Long Halloween but if you want to read a better Two-Face origin story I must again reference to Batman Annual 1990. It's available as second-hand single issue or in the Two-Face/Riddler paperback from 1995.

@socillizt4life Yeah, indeed, Dini is great. He also collaborated with Alex Ross on Batman: War on Crime, Superman: Peace on Earth, Wonder Woman: This and That. He also wrote a damn good Superman/Batman World's Finest comic. And finally he scripted Arkham City. I toy with the idea of buying the graphic novel. Have you read it?

@DrGull1888 Yeah Ill check out your Dredd list.BTW as good as Neonomicon is & it is one of his best IMO it's one fucked up story even for Moore',you were right it's his take on what the Lovecraft mythos really was & boy is it good!

@DrGull1888 I haven't read faces yet,I've had it in my palms a few times but I've let it slip for other titles but I'm definatley going to seek it out again!I know you don't rate long halloween that highly but in your opinion is it better than the LH/Dark victory origin of Two face?

@DrGull1888 Well I love my Batman stories dark & disturbing,Im just a sick fuck like that!lol.Saying that one of my top five Bat writers of this gen' IMO is Paul Dini,I love how he brings back the fun and somtimes staight up silly(Harley' hanging Batman upside down over piranahs so thier teeth would look like smiles)Mad love is actualy my favourite origin story in the Bat' universe,it makes utter sense so in that way it's realistic but with silly parts that reminds you of the Adam West Batman.
One last thing for now my friend, you put me onto MAUZ which was powerfull, heartbreaking & ambitious,A book with all the same qualities is PALASTINE & the follow up 'Footnotes from GAZA'by Joe Sacco. It's his story about the Israely/Palastine conflict written while he was a journalist in the region.Thier well worth picking up.It's won countless awards for good reason like Mauz,it shows you the worst & best in human nature.IT'S LIKE A PRE-CAMERA JOURNALISTIC DOCUMENTARY.Triple A books!

@socillizt4life Thanks a lot. I need to check this out, too. Well, well, I guess my old broken wardrobe must fulfill its duty a bit little longer with all the recommendations I've got.
Have you, by any chance, read Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi? It's an autobiographical graphic novel about her childhood and teenage in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. It's tragic and insightful but also fun.
