Fade To Black solo cover with improv during what would be the fade out :)
LESSONS:
Due to popular demand, I am now offering 1 on 1 guitar lessons over Skype. I am a fully qualified guitar teacher and currently teach 13 students at a school in Edinburgh. In addition to improving your guitar playing, I can also provide information on achieving fantastic guitar tones to make you sound as bad-ass as possible!
If you're interested, please email me at jam.crerar@gmail.com and tell me a bit about yourself. All skill levels are welcome including complete beginners.
FAQ:
Q - What if I want to cancel my lesson and I've already paid?
A - As long as you do so 24 hours before the lesson, I'll refund your money.
Q - What if either of us loses connection during the lesson?
A - I'll extend the lesson to provide the agreed duration.
Q - How do I pay for the lessons and how much do they cost?
A - Lessons will be charged at the equivalent exchange rate of £10.00 (British Pounds) per 30 minutes and are payable via PayPal. Details of which will be discussed through email.
Q - Why should I trust you won't take my money and run??
A - I am a professional guitar teacher and musician. This is what I do for a living and will provide traceable contact information to put your mind at rest via email.
Q - How many lessons do I have to sign up for?
A - As many as you like! The lessons can be scheduled one at a time or block bookings. Some students like to do one lesson then absorb what they have learnt and schedule another when THEY'RE ready.
Q - What do I need to partake in these lessons?
A - Just a computer, webcam, an internet connection and Skype! A guitar helps too...
Q - Skype lessons? Are they effective?!
A - I can see/hear you, you can see/hear me. That's all you need and because no one has to travel, it's also cheaper. The lessons I have done this way have gone just as well as the traditional ones I offer.
Q - You ARE qualified to teach guitar, right?
A - Yes! I received my grade 8 in guitar 4 years ago, hold a Ba(Hons) Degree in Sound Technology from Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts (LIPA) and have taught guitar to over 20 students over the last 4 years, all of which have have seen fantastic results. I work as a session guitarist for 3 record labels and am an active professional producer and mastering engineer. I currently teach 13 students (aged 5-18) at a school in Edinburgh.

hosenm 1 month ago
@hosenm It's just called a Les Paul Custom... The only other thing I could add to that is that it's a 2007 silverburst!

can you pls tell me what effect you are using for the part @ 00:21
stahleisen 2 months ago
@stahleisen It's the same sound throughout (apart from at the end where I switch pickup), the sound you're hearing there is the other guitar on the backing track coming in which harmonises with what I'm playing!

i was wondering is this solo hard to play?
taydobreadshop 3 months ago 4
@taydobreadshop It's not too bad if you're comfortable with your pentatonic minor scale. Just play it slow till you got it ;-)
