  • Aww your rabbit is so cute :) I have trained my Dutch in rabbit jumping but I am currently training my French lop for agility (vids in my Channel) any tips ?

  • Thank you.

Have fun! Please feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions. There is so much to say about agility that I couldn't pin point any one thing.

    Blessings, Dawn

  • i have a few questions and comments for the handler. Any tips on training the rabbits? i am a 4-h'er trying to train a variety of rabbits, i have a standard rex, holland lop, and 3 mini lops. only one took to it right away, but its deffinatly fun!

  • Find out what motivates your rabbit. My mini rex is motivated because he loves to get out go and he hates to get caught so all I have to do is reach down near him and he is off. My Holland, the one in the video, enjoys it and does it because I am asking him to. We bonded when he was a kit (I raised him) and he just does what I say. (most of the time) :) Get them used to being in different environments in and outside. There is more I could say, but I am running out of room.

  • Ok, more room. :) Work with your rabbit alot. I have found that some rabbits take to this right away and some take time. This also may not be what every rabbit would like. The best type of rabbit to use is one that is outgoing, likes to be with people and not prone to shyness. Just like people, rabbits have their rathers and some would rather not do agility while some love it. Keep trying and see with rabbits take to it and which don't.

  • Another thing, just let them play on and around the equipment and see what happens too.
