yo mrpixletech? where can i get your custom map world thingy? i wanna try it out.

Klaypex! Nice. The difference in growth is really surprising.

I'll stick to old style of farming. It's space saving and for me it don't matter if I get my wheat 10-15 mins earlier. But this was another nice video.
Klaypex FTW :P

Lol...I watched the whole thing..fascinating;-) Am I weird?

Dubstep Guns! Hehe
-
@EFT202020 no because then there would be 1/4 of the farm in 4 chunks which would equal out the same rate as having it all in one chunk
-
The fact that you put this video to Klaypex makes you even more epic then before....

Great Job

The thing about this that you have to note is space, even though rows makes wheat grow faster, you get more wheat in the same time with full out...

@yamxa996 RIght, that's what time lapse 1 showed. Rows are always faster for full growth... but it's so close that you'll still get more out of full -out.

does each chuck try to grow wheat each tick, or is it at once?
I.e would you gain grow rate by splitting up ur farm in 4 chucks?
EFT202020 3 months ago
@EFT202020 honestly, that question is much easier answered by having you watch the "optimal farming - wheat" video... I'll add a link in the description now (and no, not trying to drive my views up, it's just a LOT of info to cover).

@EFT202020 The short answer is yes, each chunk tries to update 20 blocks within it every tick (1/20th of a second), a single block per chunk can be selected multiple times, each block that's chosen that's a wheat block runs an algorithm from there to determine if it'll grow or not.

So mrpixel we learned today that wheat grows faster in rows instead of a big patch of wheat? :)

@TheUlsfark Oh, and that everything is awesome when you time lapse it to dubstep, even watching grass grow :D
