Cooking Frozen Chicken

Day 22 June 22 2011
YES you can cook a chicken from frozen.
Place washed frozen chicken and 1 cup of cold water into cold crock pot
add any herbs or spices as well as jacketed garlic cloves and lemon if desired

to cook chicken in 5-6 hours turn crockpot onto high
to cook chicken 10-11 hours turn crockpot onto low

Place chicken in oven on broil for 2-6 minutes to crisp chicken skin.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I followed this recipe and my hubby and kids raved about it. I did the crisping skin step at the end and it really was fantastic. My gravy was so good using the juices as well. Thanks for posting everything that you do.
