Legalize heroin.

this song does not advocate the use of heroin. it advocates complete legalization of drugs -especially cannabis. prohibition is stupid, hypocritical and just doesn't work. senator feinstein (california dem) does not support proposition 19 (legalization and taxation of cannabis). she should be voted out of office.

thanks for your comments. humans and nature have co-evolved over millions of years so i don't consider food and herbs to be 'foreign' substances. each person has a different constitution and lifestyle so you can't generalize what is right for everyone. in acute cases pharmaceutical drugs are appropriate. on the other hand, recent studies show that moderate cannabis smokers have healthier lungs than non-smokers. also, homeopathic remedies are usually derived from poisonous plants and minerals..

Endocannabinoids are hormones naturally acurring in the body, right (?) and not the same thing as the cannabinoids found in the plant. My point is that if you introduce foreign chemical substances into your body you´re likely to have side effects and either they are "natural" or synthetic isn´t essentially important. It´s all just chemistry and the chemistry of, for example, cannabis smoke isn't to prefer to a synthetic drug simply beacuse hemp grows in the dirt.

Cannabis is a plant and comes from nature -so what? That doesn't in itself speak either for or against it as a substance to be consumed by humans does it? There is a lot of plants that I wouldn't even touch without a glove on and there is a vast array of substances produced in labs that does you a world of good. So why is the natural origin of weed seen as souch an obvious selling point?

Hey man I got your point, I'm not of those who never tried but talking a lot, maybe the best day I remember in my life was when I met heroin then :) but I mean all the opiates are dangerous, despite the facts of OD , it changes your positives to negative, though it depend on person, I would never suggest heroin to anyone I love,
