I could read the Bible a hundred times and not believe a lick of it. Trust me, I have my OWN mind and I don't need a congregation and lunatic evangelicals to tell me what to think. Have fun reading a book created by man, for man.

For all you know, it's just a book created to make people behave a certain way. Perhaps it was the only way that thought they could create order, as opposed to the animal world. You don't KNOW anything, you just believe and to force that on someone else is not only absurd, it's unethical.

Yep, it's really absurd that God loved us SO MUCH that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus to die for us, so that if we believe in Him, we would have everlasting life instead of everlasting death. Yep, it's really absurd that in some people's imaginary worlds, they believe there are no absolutes.

Every relgion is free to interpret any way you like, especially Christianity. When you allow yourself to STRICTLY adhere to those ancient pages, you hinder your growth and thus stand by archaic beliefs that, for the most part, have always been (intentionally) ambiguous. Once again, for you to say that anything is clearly stated displays to me that your absurd adherance to those pages is desperate and, hopefully with new gov't, will be squelched and help us grow as a country.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that you have to buy your way into Heaven. The Bible clearly says that you cannot earn your way to Heaven; that no man is good; we are all sinners desperately in need of a Savior. And it's only through accepting Jesus that anyone can enter into Heaven. God has clearly spoken against homosexuality. Our beliefs are closely intertwined with what God has said, so they can not be separated.

If you don't like gays, why can't you say it without trying to bring God into it? You must have a huge ego to think you're on par with a diety. I can't stand it when people claim that a book that's been rewritten by humans ever since it's inception is strictly the word of a deity that surely all of those people weren't corresponding with. One of the Bibles preached that you had to give money to get into heaven, so obviously to say that that book is THE word of God is pure silliness.

Well, sorry you feel that way. But God doesn't tolerate homosexuality, and it would be hypocritical of me to do so. It's sad that people have been indoctrinated with liberal ideals that are decaying and underminding the moral fabric of today's society, all in the name of "tolerance" and "acceptance".

Who are you to say who REAL Christians are? If being a Christian means you can't respect and tolerate other lifestyle choices and ideals, then I can't find even a LICK of reasoning for choosing that religion.
